Because of my day job working for a construction equipment manufacturer and because of my side business as boat dealer, I can tell you that aluminum prices have really skyrocketed. These boat manufacturers are not trying to cut a fat hog...they are just trying to make a reasonable profit and keep their doors open. And they are well aware that as prices rise they shut out some buyers.

I hope the price of aluminum comes back down.
