I'm trying to hunt on a budget while I'm in college, so I'm really considering purchasing a Beavertail Final Attack layout boat. I have access to a flat bottom john boat whenever I'm home, but I feel like this would be an easy alternative for small water hunting while I'm in school. Decided I would check on here to see if anyone has had good experiences with these boats. Comparatively they are cheap at around 479 new from the dealer. I would be interested if anyone had a good used model that they were willing to sell. Any help or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

I almost pulled the trigger on a FA but I asked around and alot of people said that it was hard to paddle, didn't track well and was pretty small. I looked around and I found creekboats.com and bought a M-98 for the same cost and I will be able to fish out of it come spring time. The M-98 is ten foot eight and theres room for some decoys and gear. I made a layout board and able to layout comfortable with room for gear.

Either way you can't go wrong with layout boats with good camo! Good luck this season!!
