I need a new dog for next season and I'm starting to look around now. I am interested in a started dog, around 2 years old.

I don't want to pay more than $4,000 if I can help it, but that is flexible depending on the dog.

If anyone can recommend a good, honest trainer let me know. I don't care where they are, I will go to them.

You could contact Hightest Retrievers they are in Northern California and they seem to have great dogs. My lab has lines from there and I am extremly happy with him. Here is there number 530-742-3647. Good luck
