Has any tried loading 0.875 - 1.10oz bismuth loads in either euro hulls (straight walled) or WinAA/sts/nitro in 12gauge with TightGroup? I was able to order 4pounds for a pretty good price.

I’d like to make some load options, other than 700x, for efficient powder burns using bismuth.

looking to make a good duck load for low recoil and be effective in 70degree weather down to 10degrees.

Hi Dr ! I have said I load and shoot 492 grs of # 4's bismuth that has 1330 fps , it's a mild load with Longshot !
I have several recipes with Green Dot and Red Dot that are in the 1250 fps range and they kill birds , just fine !
I would appreciate hearing about your TightGroup load ? I have been interested in Cerberus's finding with other
powders besides A Steel , Longshot or 800x so Thanks for the Heads-up !

I’ve loaded with steel powder, Longshot, know of LilGun options, 700x, Herco, just looking to add to my options for a specific powder and payload.

actually thinking of it, the 1.15oz payload and steel powder is a soft shooter and throws a nice pattern.

Fed 12S4 as I still have a couple bags ! I have also used CB 1114-12 wads ( the Yellow ones) !

My favorite load is 1-1/8 oz fours bismuth using fed12s4 but if do not have these wads others do work just as good ...

1350 fps hammer time ...but like 3200 stated 1200 to 1250 does just as good over decoys

Unfortunate the s4 wad isn’t available. I also load 1.125-1.15oz bis4’s for most of my hunting.
