then i would get BC

Just because with the hevi metal if you buy #2 shot 60% of the load will be steel #2's and the other 40% will be hevi shot and will consist of # 2, 3, and 4 shot which means you will have a longer shot string then with other loads where the load is all one size, but i have found that the hevi metal threw a PM is deadly on birds out to 60 yards, but guy i hunt with uses the BC threw a briley M and he can kill them clean out to 60 yards also.

Never spent the extra money on fancy shells all year because we were killing most of our geese at twenty yards or less. Last couple of weeks of the season they got a little tougher to bring in close, lots of flare offs. On the recommendation of one of my buddies I bought a box of hevy metal bb's. first trip out I popped out of the blind with the birds at at least sixty yards and dropped two. Using a pattern master choke as well. One hundred percent sold on the hevi metal shells. Ran three boxes through the gun in the last couple of weeks and probably averaged two birds for every three shells, most shots 30 to 60 yards. Nice load choke combination.

I shoot hevimetal through a carlson Mod (passing) and my factory IC when they are coming into my spread. I've used Black Cloud out of both and found I prefer the Hevimetal out of both chokes. My friend uses the Black Cloud with a Briley goose choke with good success though.

i shoot an 870 wingmaster with a choked barrel and it absolutely loves the black clouds. i am sure it is different with a barrel that uses a choke but i have had no reason to try the hevi metal. i have tripled on several occasions this season. black cloud for me!

i went home to ILLINOIS and killed five geese shooting my browning gold with the IC hevi metal BB i love that stuff got two bands as well best stuff i've ever used. I got back to california and bought a case of #3 hevi metal same gun and a buddy and i killed 24 ducks in three days knocked two out at over 60 yards and only ended up with one cripple. HEVI METAL kills birds no better way to say it.

Black cloud has amazing killing power if you don't mind your goose meat destroyed. The flight stopper pellets create huge holes in the meat.
This is very true. it is really not a good ammo for ducks. especially if you are in an area with a lot of smaller ducks. (teal, woodies, small divers) it absolutely destroys a duck. i havent had a lot of problems with destroying geese i think because of the longer neck.
