Hello, new to this board but I like what I see on here. I just wanted to let some waterfowlers know that hunt on the pamunkey around the Indian reservation that my family ownes a boat ramp and house right across from the Indian Reservation. If anyone is interesed in using it next year just let me know. All I ask if I can come along and enjoy the ducks also.....

If you own property, you should be able to put a blind there yourself. If you need any help, pm me.

Phil
My property is on the high land and has a huge boat house for four boats. The ducks are on the other side of the river on the marsh. Thats all I can do is sit and watch them all.

I would love too. If you are talking about the power lines down at sweet hall, that is a long ways from reservation. I do have a four stall boat house so the boat can stay in the water with a lock on it.....

Hunter08,

I was just looking at that area on Satelite today, and thinking I should get down that way and check it out . A couple of my buddies and I are going to do a little recon the next month or so for next year. I'll send you a pm to get a locaition on the ramp, and you can ride along in the "camocraft" if you'd like.( as long as I can fix my fuel issue).

Great post, hope to meet you soon.

Cut, I didn't know you ventured that far out of the southside!

I keep hearing that there are blinds for rent/lease all around my place but I also heard that they are pretty damn expensive. The ones that are reasonable don't have any ducks. You pay for what you get I guess. Just let me know when you would like to take a ride. I am usually on that river everyday fishing or doing something. The pintails have arrived now, what a good looking bird....

I just thought to mention that we also have a four stall boat house that only has MY boat in it during the winter because everyone else pulls theirs out for the winter and I use mine all winter for fishing. SO you could park the trailer on top the hill and lock the boat up in the stall and never have to travel with it if you would like....just thought I would mention it...

hunter 08 :welcome: I also live in New Kent and am not far from where you are. I am glad to see that there is good old fashion country kindness still well and alive in New Kent County. Give me a pm and we can get together to catch some cats and do a little scouting for next season.
