Funny story about that, I went out one morning by myself and fell off my boat without my wader belt on... Nothing like 35 degree water to wake you up at 530 in the morning....

Nobody is going and good luck getting by the protesters at the door without feeling like a POS. Good luck with parking as well, Cabela's provided the bus service to and from the event. Plan on a brisk walk.

 

I think its great how many companies have chose to stand up for the second amendment. It floors me how many companies that aren't technically involved in the use or sale of guns that have stood up (thermacell, crossbow manufactures, archery shops, etc). It would be easy for them to say well it doesn't affect us, but rather they join the many others. Speaks volumes for all of them.

 

Even more amazing is who was actually hurt by the ban. From what I read, it was ONE retailer that was completely shut out. Several other companies had items in their displays that would have been banned, but they could have continued with the show with the other products they sold. One company was all tactical and they had a section dedicated to AR related stuff.

 

I will go out of my way to support the companies that boycotted this show.

 

I feel bad for the outfitters and guides who rely on this show to get people to book hunts. Its to bad their bottom line will be hurt by some POS promotters who don't give a damn about our country and only their pockets.

Same here. I absolutely LOVE it when stuff like this happens. When the result of politically correct nonsense is an immediate, decisive kick in the nuts. You sure are entitled to do what you want, and so are we. So we're outta here. Man, I love it. That place will be damn near empty, and I'll be surprised if it goes on at all.

 

And if I had bought tickets before this happened, I'd be raising hell to get my money back. And if not, I'd go and be a bother to whomever I could find in charge, repeatedly expressing my displeasure.
