Hi All
I must introduce myself to the users on this forum.
Though I am new to this forum, we have been hunting for some odd 50 years. In the past I have found that there is much info to discuss on the subject---today even more!!
We as hunters , realise the importance of hunting and the associated conservation of the different species. Our selective hunting and the set limits, enables us to enjoy the outdoors and at the same time see that our future generations are able to enjoy it also.
This means that we must act in a professional and courteus manner when we encounter those that are against hunting. This also applies to discussions on this forum---others may stumble upon and read what we are saying here--for that vary reason think before you submit.Would you like to read what you have just put in writing?? Enough said!!
Let's have a good exchange of hunting info ---each of us have had both good and bad experiences and how you sorted them out.Let us all know-it may help others down the road.
I live in Vancouver,BC--the west coast mainland area.We hunt mostly under the Farm Act--as agents to protect the farms from predation from the large migratory flocks that go through here each fall.We hunt through two clubs--The Local Hunter Club--LHC Preserves-and--The Associated Wildlife Preserves.Together we have worked with the farm community for 35 plus years. We have a good exchange between the club members and are supporters of DUC--Ducks Unlmited Canada and BC Wildlife Federation.
Good Hunting!
Clare
