We are supposed to get a good cold front aroundthe 23rd that will last about 3 days. I find it to be good hunting right before the front. then if it stays cold for a couple of days it is good hunting in the middle if its cloudy and damp. not had too much luck after a cold front. hope i was some help.

I see that you are from the woodlands area. I'm just north of you in the Huntsville area. It kinda depends on where you are hunting. i have found a superb hole 2 hrs north of huntsville. went 1 month ago and saw nearly 800 birds. since i'm such a losy shot me and my cousin shot almost 8 boxes of shells. river is good if it rises some, just the birds are harder to work cause they are shot at alot more. (trinity river)
