if you hunt the South end of the Sea you need to stop by and have a beer.

the spot is Imperial Spa they have a little shack restaurant and a little bar with the beer on tap. it is cheap and it is GOOD.

It is called the Leaping Lizard and if you have not eaten there, well I have not found anything better in the hole vally.

Dont think I am going to make it next weekend.... The 17th and 18th are looking good though. Try to get down there then. I am going to book the goose field. Hopefully we can slay some snows. Then we can hunt the sea in the afternoon.

The Salton Sea sounds familiar. IS it a pretty decent place to hunt? I need to get Info so I'm good to go next season.[/quote]

:welcome: hope you like it here

I hunt ducks from Mex to Or. and if I only had one place to hunt, it would be the Salton Sea!!!! day to day it will beet any were, and don't get me wrong there are some places that can beet it, a day here or a day there, but looking at the hole season.

The Salton Sea is the best Duck hunting in the state
