I do a lot of duck and goose huntin up here but i will be in glencoe, GA. which is in southeastern part of the state from the begining of sept through mid nov and i'm lookin to kill. I would really appreciate some advice. i understand you guys kill woodies and teal but what's the resident goose population like? Just trying to get an idea of what to expect on the public areas because i probably won't have much time to scout. anyone know of any good guides in the area? thanks for any advice.

Go down to lake Seminole. I have never hunted it, but I understand that it is slam full of ducks. People come from all over the Southeast to hunt for Cans on it. Lots of divers stage up on the lake, but everyone goes for the cans. Watch out for the gators though. We have good #'s of geese in the middle of the state, but I'm not sure about down there. Let us know how you do. Good luck

Hmm. The people calling lake seminole slam full of ducks need to take me with them cause I must be missing something here.
Actually it ain't awful...but it ain't slam full. My advice is to stay right where you are now.
