Now that the season is over we tinker a little to try new things next year. We hunt strictly in fields of corn and grass generally within several hundred yards of salt water. My question is has anyone had any luck with confidence decoys for field hunting. We are thinking of adding a few seagulls to the spread and I'm curious if anyone has tried this or other ideas. Heron and stuff like that wouldn't in the field. While I'm at it, let me pass along a tip that works like a charm for us. If the geese are landing in neighboring fields or short stopping 300 yards or mor short of us we put out a coyote decoy. We found some online. They work relly well and are well worth the price if you have a situation like I described.
