I knew it was only a matter of time. People around here have seen a few. I see that they are following it up by saying that there probably not a sustainable #. Oh well, at least they can't deny it anymore.

a few years back during deer season i stumbled upon a young buck laying on the bank of my pound under some willows. the deer had been ate on by an animal and that animal had left very large claw marks through the rib cage. my father then called the local worden and had him come out and investigate this as a possible big cat incident. but the game worden tried to convence us that it was probably a pack of wild dogs, i didn't buy it. later on that year less than a mile from my land two black courgars were seen together running through a pasture. everybody knows they've been in kansas for awhile but the state won't admit to it bc, they probably put them here to control the deer population.

I don't dubunk the fact that there are big cats in KS, but if they were put here to control the deer population that is a stretch. Hunting should take care of that. You figure if a big cat kills a deer a day, thats only 365 a year. Not the best population control....I am from WI and everyone says the same thing about the big cats and wolves. While the wolves are established and do impact the deer population.....the 500,000-600,000 (for the past 5 years) that are killed every year during the firearms and bow season should put a dent in population....however we are still high in deer population.

Come on guys.... everyone knows its because of the squirles. Just too dang many of em these days. The average cat eats around 5 squirles a day, 4 if he uses BBQ sauce. At that rate a cat eats....*carry the 3...40...no 50...add 2...* they eat a metric truckload of squirles.

Not really guys. idk why they brought em.. give the wardens somin to do, idk. "hey bob look, according to the gps collar it says cat #334 is moving along liyingsackofpoop creek." "Yep joe, sure does. I bet he just ate your nehibors dog you've been complaining about, good thing we train those things before we released em"
