i cant wait to catch a stray black in kansas some time. I really like the picture of the mallard with the wingtip feathers curled up. That is the coolest picture of mallard drakes in my opinion.

Canon 40D with a 100-400 IS lens

I shoot in AV mode mostly, the key is to keep your shutter speed up to catch birds flying.

I don't really shoot many birds anymore, I watch everyone else do it and I take the pics! :thumbsup:
