I drew the NW Pond blind at Currituck for Jan 7th. I'll be going up on the 6th to scout and find the blind in the daylight. Was hoping some with experience in the area could share some info about that specific blind.

Is it best to come at the blind from the north or can you get there from the south side via the creek that runs through the marsh?

I read elsewhere, there is a boat hide on the blind. Is this correct?

Can you wade around the blind and how deep is it? My dog passed last spring and the new pup is not ready so we'll have to get out own birds and I also need to know if 3' of decoy line is enough.

Thanks for any info you can share?

Surely someone can at least give me some insight on the water depth so I know if I need more that 3' of decoy line.
Is this filled by the State for the season or natural?
