I am a REALLY big fan of small call makers. I really like the customer service. Plus the hand-turned calls jsut have more soul to me!

What "custom calls" are you guy susing? I am always curious to see what the trends are.,

For me right now I have a Muddy Paws and TSalt on my lanyard. With a Watkins, C&S customs, and more TSalts on order. Also toyign with the idea of a Ducklander call.

I just got these two in the mail today from Jacob at Fowl Weather Calls.

On the right is a Cold Snap and the other is his Stub-zero. The 'Front is actually a get well gift for my 14 year old huting buddy.

I also have this Cold Front he spun up for me a few months ago.

So I guess you can say I'm a fan of his.

I also have three from Kelly's Kalls, plus one he did for a gift for my Dad.

My first custom from John over at Snake River CC.

My Lares Hybrid, Basin Honker, and Heartland Flatliner round out my collection. I think they all meet the criteria for custom as well.

I have a Matthews single reed Timber call, a Matthews single reed Open Water call on order, A TSalt Swamp Mouth, and a Muddy Paws Wood Duck call. A Watkins Hybrid Swamp Bore is on top of my "wanted" list.

just ordered a single reed bocote with bois d' arc and an acrylic goose call from matthews custom calls :thumbsup: im lookin to tune the geese this year in the early goose season :yes:

Greg Hood is my guy.

He is still hand tooling his acrylic and wood calls. They cost a couple bucks but he is very good at hitting what you want. He is the most knowlegible guy about the fine micrometered specs of calls I have ever talked to. Super running calls as well.

Like most of the call makers he is great to deal with.

Nice looking Watkins Ice. That wood grain is sick.

Jake I am headed to Boise it the end of august I would like to hook up with you for a call about that time.
