I was wanting to know if anyone uses a diving duck call for hunting or do you need them.

I do , a cheap $15 one, it works great. Most mallard calls you can use with a purrrr into the call :thumbsup:

I am new at divers but last season used a Lohman diver call it was like ten dollars call worked great on canvasbacks, bluebills , goldeneyes, buffleheads and mergansers ....

The lohman is the raspiest call out there I would highley recommend the Lohman Diver call

we dont have a diver call. and we get quite a few divers.

For a simple diver call all you need is a standard puddler call that imitates any mallard hen, but instead of using it the regular way trill your toungue as you blow . Bluebill call !
