In Des Moines at the airport the Iowa DNR caught over 200 canadian geese, and took them to a local locker. The reason they did this is because they were posing a threat to the plane's that come, and go everyday. They hope that this will solve the problem, they have tried trapping them before and relocating but they keep coming back. The young geese that were caught that could'nt fly yet, were taken to a lake quite a way's away, where they will hopefully stay. The good thing about this is that the geese that are going to be killed, are all going to go to the Iowa food bank for homeless, and needy people. Just wish they would've let hunter's go in and help with the problem.
