I just bought a drake old school camo down jacket. (not because I like "oldschool" just because it was $60 cheaper than the exact same jacket but max5). Will this make any difference in concealment?

this was kinda a no brainer given that I used to use an 80s vintage jacket

You don't need any fancy camo or face paint.
It's movement that counts.
So you have a yellow lab setting on the dog ramp in the sun that shows up like a diamond in a goats ass.
This doesn't bother the ducks.

Keep your head down and don't move.

If it does make a difference, it will be for the better. Brown camo (aka old school) in my opinion is the best all around camo made. Blends in almost anywhere.
^^^^^^
This camo worked until some wise boy figured that he could attract hunters with computer graphics applied to clothing. Figured he could make a fortune. "Wow! Looks just like nature!" Yes - to humans. Designer camo is the biggest fraud perpetrated on us (maybe worse than the 3.5 12ga). :hammer:

3.5 mag isnt a fraud because it does provide extra power but whether the extra power is needed is the question

I only shoot 3.5" because they don't make 4".
If USFWS should ever legalize 8ga shotguns (don't hold your breath) you - & I - might get our chance, Wisconsin.
I use a double barrel 10 ga. and pull both barrels, so I'm shooting 7". :nana:

I bought a wool old school camo coat and bibs for deer hunting this season. It's been detrimental though, as they cause me to parade around the perimeter of the property to make sure the neighbors get to see me in all my glory.

I like old school camo. I have a hat in OS. Think I have some pants, but not much chance of those fitting any more. I just won't pay for Drake stuff.
everything "old school" is 30% off, thats why I bought it

Hell ya.
Bought the LST down vest & decoy gloves - all Old School, 30% off.
Bonus - the only real camo.
Groovy.

 people today over think camo. Shades matter more than camo.
