Anyone hunt in Norther Idaho. St. Maries area? Went fot the first time last year and did well. Also looking for people who know where to field hunt geese in Northern Idaho. I have 4 dozen shell but havent found a place to set them up. I have a few places in mind but ill have to wait till this season to try them. Also looking for other hunters to team up with or share information.

burk, I just noticed and replied to your pm. Can't help you with the field hunting but the area you are in can be field hunted or so I hear. The birds on the bottom part of CDA Lake get out and feed on fields. That part of CDA Lake is arguably the best hunting in N ID. If you found someone with a boat you would do well. We don't get down there. We leave it for the St. Maries boys.
