Think the ducks are catching onto our tricks. Today I just my deeks out in cluster to see how that would work. Had a few looks and that was it. Had some guys across the river from with 2 Mojo, birds would circle but not commit. They did have a group land about 75 yds outside of the deeks. Seen plenty of birds though. And top it all of seen some Cans on the way home. Need a bigger boat and about 6 dozen more diver deeks and I might get one.

I was thinking along the lines of a Banks Boat. It'll have to wait awhile, retirement gift I think. When you coming down I can put you on some Scoters, been hunting them for the shore.

when does your season go out? I am out this weekend but am free from here on out...I would love to do that, I have never hunted them... :thumbsup:

Just let me know when you are coming down, I got the decoys and the Stealth boat. Hopefully I will get something tommorrow in the marsh, besides mud up to my crack.

Everything is wise and or gone. Went from feast to famine in a big ass hurry. Lots of geese... too many geese.... and too many goose hunters too! They have learned where they cannot or will not be aggitated.

And FWIW... I haven't shot a duck decoying to a mojo in about three years now.... I'm to the point where I think they hurt more than they help.

I think the big storm out west blew in some new birds,some that aren't coomon to my area.Hopefully this next shot of cold weather will bring in some new birds before the deep freeze moves them out.Sat should be the best day to hunt cause everything is suppose to lock up next week.
