A friend of mine got a hold of an SBE and he wants to sell because all he really wanted from the guy was the case. He only wants 850 for it and they guy never put any shells through it!!! I looked into the chamber and everything looks practically brand new. First off does everyone think it is a deal and secondly, another friend of mine said the SBE doesnt shoot 3.5's, I assumed it did from the SBE 2 but I wanted to check?

I'm no expert about the SBE, but I guy I've hunted with has the original SBE. And from what I remembered, its chambered to shoot the big 3 1/2" shells. $850 seems like a ok deal for very little use. If I was going to buy it I'd offer $800 not $850.

A SBE will shoot 3.5's and if it was new that is a good deal. Is it black with black synthetic stock? It is pretty much the standard for the generation 1 SBE's... They are great guns and worth the money. Never hurts to offer less!

ya it is black. I really wanted a Max 4 SBE 2 but for half the price I will make due. I saw the freaking ridiculous paint job on a post by a moderator. I wish he did that for a living because I would be sending it out to him to get painted up quick. Those guns looked awesome!!

I was thinking of offering a little less but the gun looks immaculate. I feel like its worth it.

If its an SBE, then it'll shoot 3.5s. I've got the I and II, love both of them. Benelli all the way baby :thumbsup:
