I drove from Farm to Farm for 4-5 hours today and didn't see a single goose. Not one in the field or in a loaf pond. People keep telling me they're everywhere...does not seem to be the case.

Keep looking there out there. Were having a hard time finding them to but managed to knock down a few

Yea, i'm not giving up any time soon. I actually found a lot of great duck spots and some nice corn fields that should be solid once they're cut.

I am on a small pond in Hudson nh (unfortunately surronded by houses) and just started seeing the geese this weekend. Hope this is the start of many more to come. Has anyone hunted the Merrimac for ducks? Seems like it would be a good float trip.

Yea, I've started to see them here and there now too. Hopefully I can find some tomorrow morning for a decent hunt Saturday.

I dont generally field hunt, so I hate early goose. Its a big tease haha
Ive got a few over water in Sept in the past. Usually run into too many other people
