anybody tried hunting in a float tube. i am gonna try it this evening.theres a lake near me that doesnt allow gas powered motors. so ill use my trolling motor to get out there and have someone drop me off in the boat.then pick up my dead ducks if i get any.

I know a guy that uses one on occassion--you are talking about the kind that kind of look like an inner tube with a saddle and you wear swim fins? He likes it for its versatility. But beware if alot of weeds--you get all tangled up in them and is a headache. He uses it for ponds a bit too deep to wade in in setting out decoys and also has used it to hunt out of when the bottom was too mucky to stand up with out going over his waders. I would think the movement would be harders and thus more misses when shooting.
