It would take a lot of work but, it could pay off. Post this in the Waterfowl Boats, Motors and Boat Blinds Forum of DHC. You will get more responses, advice and ideas than in the PA State Forum. There are plenty of guys remodeling boats into duck boats on that forum. IMO, $200 isn't a lot of money if it floats without leaks.

I'd roll in that with no issues. Don't get me wrong, I like a 8K War Eagle, but the boat isn't what kills ducks. I'm all about Value Vs. Function and there's nothing you can't do in that except bust thick ice and head out in the open seas. For $200, I think you did pretty well.

Now to find a motor and rip those fishing seats out. I'd be sitting on a milk crate, low, in a low profile blind. More than likely, it would just be for transportation for me, but I'd still set it up as a blind as well.

Thanks guys, imma try to post it there see what I get but yeah the idea was a low profile blind...ill keep y'all updated on my progress its gonna turn out good imma take my time and do a nice job.
One of the guys, I think Ichabod, has a power point presentation attached this his profile to build a DIY scissor blind. You ought to check it out. A lot of those guys have done some ingenius things for their boats. They're very helpful and offer good advice. I'll be following along with your progress. Good Luck.

Definately has potential. I had one like it. In a weekend, a friend and I painted it, made a homemade popup blind for it, and made a set of spud poles for it. We had some pretty decent hunts and good times from that little boat. All in all, the upgrades we did on it cost less than $100 because we made the blind and spud poles from scratch.
