When we see birds coming in I scream "WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" then I yell " SHOOT!" then there is mumbling about safety's being on and the sun being in their eyes. I usually can't hear when I'm in my canoe retrieving my ducks.
What you'd hear in the blind "we gonna do these ones?" "no,no theres more coming in behind them. let's see what happens" then all the ducks we had working just bugger off when we could have had 1 or 2 sure birds each.
My buddies usually payin attention so dont have to say much but theres the random times we get a few cans or redheads around here that are hardly ever seen so that gets a "kill em cause no ones gonna believe us" ...

whenever something cool happens out in the field (use your imagination - a difficult double, killing an exotic species, or just the whole hunt) my pops will say in a very serious tone: "Some men may live their WHOLE lives and never..." have whatever just happened happen to them. and of course he means the common domestic man who's never had the pleasure of being out in the marsh hunting ducks!
or my next favorite: where'd those come from?!?!?!
