Hi fellas and ladies-

I saw on my GMU map-downloaded from the WDFW site--excellent!--that south of ilwaco there is some additional federal land.

Is this part of the WNWR-willapa refuge area? is it huntable?

I know I need to grab a map from the office, but I was hoping some of you had some info!

TIA-

PB

On the map, Ilwaco is slightly south of where 101 ends and runs into the N/S road that goes up the peninsula.

South of that, on the map, there is some shaded federal land, I am assuming its part of the WNWR, but was curious as to its potential!

maybe 1/2 mile out of Ilwaco?

There is really no ground south of Illwaco that you can hunt on, at least to my knowledge.Theres a State Park some hiking trails a light house and about 150 ft cliffs that drop into the Ocean but that's about it.
