Franchi Affinity is easier to clean. They both use the same chokes, have shims for drop and cast and share a bore diameter.

The A300 has a traditional recoil pad and will allow you to adjust LOP. It also has a gas operating system and will be easier on the shoulder.

It's going to come down to fit, the rest is just fluff.

Shoot both and choose wisely!

A neighbor has a franchi affinity 3 and we had a neighborhood skeet shoot once and he came with it. Idk when it was last cleaned or how well he maintains parts or how many total shells have been through it but that thing wouldn't run at all. We tried 4 different types of shells through it and it just kept malfunctioning about every 6 or 8 shells. It would jam, fall to fire, wouldn't bring a shell out of the mag. That's just one gun and one scenario so take it for whatever it's worth.

I have shot them both and liked them both. I own a Franchi Intensity (the Affinity 3.5) and I shoot that gun very well, mostly because of fit. I also sold a gas gun to get the Intensity because of the ease of cleaning for hunting. It can shoot and cycle all day long 1oz 1200fps loads of 7/8oz 1250 loads. The beretta cycled my reloads fine just a touch heavier in the feel for me. For me it would come down to what I was going to shoot. If it is a hunting gun to be used on a clays course every once in a while I'd go for the Franchi. If it is a mostly clays gun to be used on some duck hunts, I'd go for the beretta.

I have a buddy who is just starting to get into shooting and mostly it's with me shooting skeet or sporting clays. I pointed him immediately towards the Beretta because I know he will only hunt maybe 2-4 hunts a year if at all. I also had a hunting buddy giving up his mosberg 500 for a new hunting gun but on a budget. I pointed him right to the Franchi. Both are great choices!

I have a franchi affinity which is simply the model before the three and intensity came out. I also have an A300. The franchi fits me better and patterns most everything I have patterned better than A300. Gun loves black cloud #4 through a Carlson close range choke. I have not had one issue with the franchi and hunt this gun hard. It is also easy to clean. My A300 is a loaner gun or a backup if anything happened to my franchi. Since nothing has happened to my franchi the A300 collects dust. You should shoulder both guns before making a decision though.

I have the Franchi intensity and my dad has an A300. Both shoot well, no issues with either. I prefer the feel of the Franchi, my dad liked the beretta, both are fine guns. There is a little more kick in the Franchi because it's intertidal, but it also needs a little less cleaning so pick whatever is worth more to you.

I've never shot a Franchi. Been shooting my A300 for three seasons. It replaced my Browning Gold as my go-to duck gun very quickly; I just shoot it better for some reason. I like the gun overall.

I was looking at getting something for my 11 year old. Wasn't going to drop a grand on a gun for him yet. The affinity was on sale for $699 and the A300 was $599. Ended up going the A300 because it is more adjustable for a kid. Then got an additional 20% off of the ale price.....$460ish plus tax..... :grooving:

I've posted this before I bought an Affinity 20 ga Compact for my daughter she is late 20's but 100lbs. Shoots turkeys with it clay birds. I was impressed with it enough to think about buying one myself. I'm a BBBBrowning guy and have 4 of their camo guns so I passed. dont know a thing about the other, but the Affinity works.

Franchi is Beretta.
That can be a misleading statement.
Franchi, Benelli, and Beretta are all owned...along with Stoeger....by one company: Beretta Holding.
Each of those brands are entities unto themselves. They produce far different products.
Aston Martin was owned by Ford at one time. An Aston Martin was not a Ford.
