I went through the my shotgun ammo and found 25 or so box's I want to get rid of I just won't be using. I've got 6 or 7 box' of #8 lead good for trap/skeet, a couple boxes of #6 lead can still use in calif for pheasant at pheasant clubs this next season, and around 15 boxes of steel waterfowl B.B., #2 and #3. I'd like to either sell it real cheap or even give it to someone but I believe current California law doesn't allow me to sell or give the ammo away. Anyone got any ideas?
I believe I could legally take the ammo out of state like to Nevada and give or sell it to someone but that's 3 hours of driving one way and a hassle. Damn I hate these idiot California gun/ammo laws.

I still have respect for law enforcement officers everywhere, indeed those who work to protect us in any capacity. I also respect those honest men and women in the Judicial system nearly everywhere. But I'm afraid I see a streak of pure evil in the West Coast members of the Judicial system and legislatures, those who love nothing better than to either strip you of your rights or make it such a monumental hassle to exercise those rights as to make them virtually null and void.
The 2nd amendment, and the 1872 mining laws come to mind at once. Free speech is being taken care of for them on your college and university campuses.
There are plenty of good folk all over the state yet, but you seem to have lost a handle on the situation. Do conservatives no longer hold a majority vote in numbers there, or are the vile ones in complete and unassailable control?

Yes California is run completely by lunatic lefty socialist democrats. Conservatives are heading for extinction in this state. The gun laws and ammo laws are draconian as are most of the other laws passed in the last several years. An example of the ammo laws - you need a permit to buy ammo, you must pass a background check to buy ammo. You cannot buy ammo out of state and bring it into California. You can only buy ammo from a licensed dealer. You cannot give ammo to other people even friends. In 2019 all hunting with lead is banned, even big game. It has truly become an asylum run by the lunatic left, and elected by lunatics.

I just want to get rid of some ammo and I'd like to see someone get to use it rather than have it wasted and destroyed. I have some ideas but am not going broadcast it here. If I did I'd probably have someone with a gun and a badge knocking on my door. Don't misunderstand me I have the utmost respect for leo's, I was one for a couple years , many years ago.

Sorry for y'all. I packed up the family and moved to Cedar Park, TX to get away from this BS. Feels nice to walk into a shop and not be treated like a damn criminal when I want to buy ammo. Oh, and pulling all the bullet buttons off of my ARs / purchasing 30rd (standard capacity) Pmags felt real good :)

I even left a case of duck ammo at my club in Lambertville because I know the retailers won't sell to me with my TX drivers' license when I come back to hunt and contribute to the Republik's economy.

If any of you want to see what it's supposed to be like, come on down to hunt with me.

You might consider taking it to Hastings Island and donating it to the Women's hunt classes. They could use it all there no doubt. The steel could go to the CWA Grizzly Ranch hunt camps and classes.

That's a good idea but I'm not sure I could do that without using a Ca. licensed middleman due to current calif law. I am a long term member of both Hastings Is. pheasant club and CWA. It's just sad that these stupid laws only affect law abiding and hassle us but will have no effect on crime or criminals.

Leave it the back of your truck overnight in the parking lot of a Refuge on opening weekend, I'm sure some dirtbag will take care of it for you. But put a piece of masking tape on each box that says #2 bismuth reloads so the dirtbags get popped using it, it's a win, win.
Mother :censored: thief's I can't stand those :censored: :censored: pukes.

Just sell the ammo to somebody that wants it.

The state of California doesn't know what ammo you have now. You can buy ammo in California right now and there is no record of you doing it.

We don't yet know when or exactly how the state of California is going to keep track of the ammo that you do buy. So far the only thing I have seen that has changed is we can't order ammo and have it sent to our homes.

If you do take it out of California to sell it make sure you don't drive over the speed limit because that is also breaking a law.
