Have any of you used the Gibson blind covers? I saw them advertised in the CWA magazine and checked out their web site. They look good, a little on the pricey side though. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with these.

A renter had some similar to the Gibsons. I liked them when they were placed farther away from the blind, I can't stand not being able to turn, in the blind, plus I don't hunt with my gun in the blind, and it made it difficult to find a place for my gun that allowed me to hunt the way I hunt. I ended up making my own contraptions that you don't have to flip open. They give me, something to hide behind, they block the wind, and I can hide munchies and things under neath it, which is nice, because my cement blinds don't have shelves. I went a little over board, you could do the same thing with wood stakes, and wire. I might try that on my other blind.

we made some just like them out of thin metal tubing, and anchored them to the actual blind, they wook great, used them the last two years and birds don't see you at all, also hide alot of your movement so that you can move freely to get ready fro the shot instead of having to be froze in place. I highly recommend them or build your own, either way you will be happy.
