anyone know of any places that are good to get some geese via boat or public land around the green bay/appleton area....havent had much luck with them on michigan the last two seasons

Im not sure how much public land there is around there ive done pretty good on the bay out of green bay..but i would say for the best success get yourself a layout blind and hit the corn fields. Im from two rivers and we wackem' all season long out of the fields.

yeah im thinking about doing that its just hard or atleast it seems hard to get permission alot of times

I went online and did a ton of searching for free online plat surveys. It will give you the name of the owner/s of the land. Just call em' up. You are actually doing them a service by getting rid of the geese in their fields. I'll try to find the website I used to get the plat surveys

This is what i do every season and i hve no problem getting permission...first you gotta call and ask or find the land owners house ppl like to see who is coming on there land..then after the season take a couple birds that you got and give them to the land owner or get them a gift certificate to a restraunt..works everytime and alot of times they wont let anyone else on the property so then you got the field to yourself all season long. give it a try let me know how it goes..good luck

i think he meant the PLAT book will give you the names of the landowners.
