Anyone ever seen geese on a roof??? Thought this was quite odd. There was a single goose standing on the roof honking away and then 2 more lit right in up there with the one. There were three geese on the roof honking and pooping. We used my buddies cellphone camera and its not good photos but you can tell.

downtown Cary, it was pretty funny to watch the other geese circle the apartments and the one goose standing there honking. The geese landed on the top and ran down the roof to stop. It appeared one of them couldnt stop and had to abort the landing, only to circle another time and make a successful landing. I've seen plenty of woodies landing in weird places while surveying but nothing like this. I didnt think a goose would hang out on a roof.

I watched two wood ducks land on a tree branch on the top of a hill at a half developed job site surrounded by houses and such. There was no water near them or anything. I know it was wood ducks because i watched through the instrument. I have always heard of, and observed woodies in very secluded places. Not a job site in raleigh. I thought that was kind of weird but the geese take the cake.

Those Camp Bryan guys have to much money to live in an apartment  . Must be one of their kids going to NC State majoring in wildlife management with a minor in pond management. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree or is that the corn kernel doesn't fall far from the stalk. I get confused sometimes

ducksrus, you must be confused. You're living in VA and trashing a NC thread for no reason. It's guys like you that i enjoy pissing off, however i seem to do it?? Would you like directions to this apartment complex so that you can shoot a goose over some corn and claim you're a sportsman. You can bring a few of your co-horts from the other thread if you'd like.

Whompus,
No directions needed. I guess you did not read my part of the thread (Camp Byran) or you just could not comprehend it long enough to post a accurate reply here. As said before I don't need to us bait to harvest a LEGAL LIMIT of waterfowl. I know how to scout fields that have enough Legal Feed in them due to farming pratices (thanks USFWS). Dude get off the Crack Pipe or Bong. I believe your judgement of others is a bit clouded. I was only trying to spread a little humor here. As far as pissing people off your doing a GREAT JOB OF THAT YOURSELF, it seems. If I hurt anybodies feeling please feel free to post up here. Or is there just one guy on this site that thinks everyone is out to get him. Dude serious get some :help: . Before some crazy takes you serious enough to see you at a boat ramp at 5:00am and we (one of us fellow waterfowler) find your ass floating in the water at 12:00 noon coming in from a hunt. Your taking to much of this stuff to heart and your anwsering post without thinking. Next time you have a thought of answering a post, wait a few hours before you stick that boot in your mouth again and again and again before someone stick it in your ***.

Just my .02 again

Oh by the way I think if someone hunts in a state they have a right to search that states message boards to see whats going on there. So I will keep looking and commenting in VA, NC, DE, MD, PA and Saskatchewan if I like. That is none of your business again young man.

here we have another classic example of a tough typer. if you dont like my opinions or thoughts, dont read them, or be civil about it. But dont drag some BS from another thread to this one. That my friend, is just as immature as you calling someone a crackhead.
Your intent wasnt to just "bring humor" to this thread. It was to continue the BS because you know that there are a few here against me right now, to join your little scharades. Now that you're called out on it, its just a "joke". the only joke on this forum is your tough internet attitude you just brought into this thread.

So I will keep looking and commenting in VA, NC, DE, MD, PA and Saskatchewan if I like. That is none of your business again young man
there is a difference between commenting and trashing a thread for no reason. even some "young men", know better than that

Who M puss
I guess you are a puss. (some more HUMOR at your expense)
Hey its your login
But seriously. Why don't you FOLLOW your own advice and don't read or comment on others posting. To start how do you know what my intent was in my posting. What are you a freaking mind reader. Plus I never called you a crackhead but if the shoe fits or is that boot wear it. Must have a guilty consciense, I guess. Here we go with the comprehension thing again. I guess you got upset because I did not mention the geese on the roof. If you need an "at a boy" for seeing something strange will here it is "at a BOY". I don't see where I hijacked your thread by asking a silly question like "who put the corn up on the roof" to get them to land. Someone else (ncduckkiller if my comprehension is still intact) brought the Camp Bryan guys into it. But I guess with all the CRAP I have seen you throw out down in NC and DHC I guess the poor birds only can land on rooftops of apartments to keep from stepping in your BS. So before you call the kettle black look in the mirror.

If your going to quote somebody put all of the quote in. Not just a part of it so you can twisted it to suit your means. I frankly don't see where I trashed your original thread. Again I guess you only want to hear "at a BOY" for threads you started. But glad to see NCduckkiller has a sense of humor  .

No, I'm not a tough typer. Just been in this world long enough to know when to shut up and watch my back. And it looks like the way your going you'll have no friends and you'll have to shave your head and put some eyes in the back off it to stay around as long as I have. Best of luck with the eye transplant thing. I hope it doesn't reject you too.

Sincerely
ducks

I forgot to mention earlier about you questioning me on baiting. I don't break any game laws or driving laws (DUI, DWI, and or any thing criminal). I go to Saskatchewan every year for the last 9 years. You have to get a gun permit to hunt there. They do a back ground check every year. So I can not afford to do something stupid in the US to lose my right to hunt in Saskatchewan. I have a Trailer with about $4000 worth of stuff in it up there and I intend to use it each year.
