My buddy and i shot a hooded mergandser two seasons ago. then i came down to Florida for school, so when i was home for christmas break- back in MN- i finally got to see it. Very pretty. Yours is too.

Always love to be able to see the beautiful birds huh. Very nice Red head. Wish i could mount every duck i shot! haha

thanks guys. it is nice to have it back, but it willl really be nice in the summer. when its 100+ degrees i'll look at it and remember the cold day i shot it on. :mrgreen:

nice, i was lucky enough to shoot a banded redhead this year which is extremely rare! :getdown: So rare in fact, that our outfitter said if I didn't want it, he would like to keep it and have it mounted for the lodge. He placed a little plaque thing under it with my name and the date i killed it on there.
