I am thinking about buying a new semi and at this point the fron runner is the Benelli m2. I'll be using the gun for pheasants, clays, ducks & geese. My question is what are the characteristics of a "good fit". Does it just feel right or are there more exact ways to determine fit? What are the basic things one considers in fit?

When I shoulder the Benelli it comes up perfectly level and on sight. Is there anything elese I should be looking for in terms of fit? My other guns ads 870's and a Berretta 390. On those guns I seems the 870's shoulder better than the 390 for me.

Thanks

Balance, is it too front heavy compared to other models?

I recommend checking with a good shooting instructor for fit tips too.
