I've bought guns from the big 3 gun auction sites among others, and have had very good experiences with every purchase.

Gunbroker has been very good to me, and as long as you watch who you are buying from, just like ebay, you shouldn't have any problems.

My only problem with them was they lost my number of purchases and sales. That really isn't too big a deal with me, and it was handled well.

BTW, my FFL just raised his price from $20 to $25 per transaction. I figure that is a fair price, although I have heard of much higher.

I traded a guy my bolt action 30-30 that I did not want for any reason, for a really nice target .22. I feel that it was a great trade. I think gunbroker is a pretty good site, and the guy I worked with was good. I forget what I paid to do it all, it wasnt much.

That sucks, Usually the good guys will give you the option of sending it back if the gun sucks. Maybe that just the guy I bought it from. And I really had to hold myself back from calling my buddy at the gun shop. The waiting sucked. I am on the East Coast and I bought the gun from Washington State, so I had a bit of a wait. I can sympathize with you.
