Saw a write up on another forum so I decided to post up over here how I made mine. Don't have any videos yet, but this thing produces quite a bit of ripple and bobbing movement in the spread. Great for dead flat days and cheap to make.

Parts:
-old decoy
-expanding foam
-weazle ball (from Crackerbarrel-rip tail part off)
-something to cut the decoy. I used a Dremel tool
-marker to draw where you will be cutting

Cut a whole out of the back of the decoy big enough to easily get the ball in and out.

Next fill the entire decoy up with expandable foam.

Cut out an area to fit the ball in.

Attach the top piece you cut out and you are ready to go. (no pic of the top back on, but my cut was tight enough that I can wedge the top piece back on and it will hold. you may need to figure out some other way by using industrial velcro or something)

nice...definitely looks like a cheaper alternative to other quiver deeks. sure does put out some ripples! i might try this idea 'cause i know the first 3 days of early season here there was no wind and the water was calm...sucked having no motion on the water in our spread. i think this might do the trick.

I got a weasel ball (cracker barrel) and tried it last night. The first decoy I cut was to shallow for the ball (old feather light) but the second one seemed to work well. I used one of those sonic tools to cut it and it worked great. I sprayed the foam in with the ball in the decoy suspended in a ziploc bag. I will let you know if that works or if the original idea of cutting out the ball location works better. It looks good so far. Duck opens here tomorrow so I hope it works. If not my daughter and dog got a kick out of chasing the ball so it is a winner either way!

Good idea about spraying with the ball in. You may still want to shave out a little of the inside. I have made 2; one with a tight fit and the other without. The tight fit one you really have to shake the decoy to get the ball out. How do you plan on re-attaching the back??
