I was just wondering how everyone was doing lately, I finnally shot a couple big geese and a teal this morning. I havent been able to get anything since christmas eve. Im looking to end the season on a high note because this is the first year my fiance has all her own gear and has been going out with me but she hasnt had many opportunities to shoot and the times she has shot were difficult shots for any duck hunter so she has only ended up with a handful of birds this season. I know its a long shot, As it always is, if anybody could point me in the direction with a pm or anything to help me get her on some birds \it would be much appreciated. thanks.

I got out for the first time today... Saw a lot of birds up in Skagit County. Couldnt get many to drop for me...

It has come to a stand still for me, burnt a half tank of fuel today doin some scouting, didnt turn up to much that gave me a plan for tommarow

Mine is getting much better, I have finally been able to consistently kill ducks. I have also been able to enjoy lots of new and great company in the blind. I am really looking forward to the last couple weeks of the season. I hope to finish really strong. Now If I could get a couple brant....

A lot slower so far compared to last January. I have had to go find the birds a lot more vs just going to my usual spot and killing a limit the last few weeks. Got an invite to go hunt some land over in Eastern Wa this weekend....hope it goes well. Then I take the last week of the season off of work like I usually do and hope to smack a few more to end the season on a high note. I am poised to end up with more birds than last year, but I have had to work a lot harder for this year's birds.

So far in Jan. I have hunted five times and have 25 ducks. Not a bad average, but the last hunt, this morning only netted two ducks....... ho hum..... Whatever I have been so lucky to get out as much as I have, and looking to do some more!!!! :hammer:
