Yeah, I was about 4 when my dad had me on the end of a .22 rifle.

And I think I got my first kill (ptarmigan) at the age of 6

Thanks DAD!! :salude:

.22 and .410 at 8, pigeons shortly thereafter. Didn't start actually hunting until I was 12, which is the minimum age here in WI. How young can you legally start hunting in your states?

I was shooting a .22 and a Red Rider BB gun (CAN'T FORGET THE GOOD OL' FASHION BB GUN!) at the age of 3 or so and then a 20 gauge at the age of 5 I think. Started really hunting at the age of about 8 or 9 because we have an age limit also.

Though I have been trapping since I was about 9 or 10 months old....

I got BB gun when I was about four and killed my first rabbit with it. When I was 6 I got .22 and a .410. Then I got a 20 and 12 gauge. When I was 12 I killed my first deer with my .30-06. And been shooting anything that has a season on it ever since.

killed my first duck at 4, shot it off the water with a .22 with rat shot, shot my first turkey at 5 with my single shot .410, then at seven killed my first deer with a lever action .357 at about 60 yards with iron sights. (missed a couple with my .410 with slugs when i was 5 or 6) my dad starrted carryin me squirrel huntin in a back pack when i was a few months old, and it was a way of life ever since. Idont think there is a age limt here in georgia
