Yes you could load a couple 2oz BB shells in the 10ga and pick a goose out of a flock a very long ways up and dump that single goose. Pick another and repeat. Or divers over big water

 

I remember that Federal box design from Christmas 1982, got my first 12 gauge along with a couple of boxes of shells with that same design!

 

Id guess mid 80s for the steel. Next box was federal gray box with red "steel" written on it in 90 or 91 i believe. Then came premium (copper plated).

I'm not sure about the Western box, but the Federal box is from the late 80s / early 90s.
