I,ve never hunted this area before. What works - what doesn't. How deep is the water? How's the population and what type of ducks are to be expected?

I'm not from that area at all, but I suggest that you also post this up on the NC state forum. :smile:

well apparently if you promise not to shoot buffleheads, you might get some help.

are you freelancing, or going with a guide?

what kind of boat do you have?

looks like a lot of shoreline... but I bet there are a LOT of hunters as well

the post is from 2004

it's not a area where you just come and hunt for a day or two though. no hunting is allowed except for from licensed blinds
