Wondering if anyone has ever freelanced in Ontario and how difficult it was to gain access? Additionally has anyone ever hunted with GreyBruce Outfitters up there? I am usually a freelance guy but Ontario isn't like going to Sask. where gaining permission is pretty easy. Thanks for any assistance.

I live in Ontario and hunt out west every fall. It's definitely not as easy to get permission here. Farmers tend to give permission to locals. The area where Grey Bruce hunts has very good hunting. Between Grey Bruce Outfitters and Wingfeather Outfitters they probably have most of the good stuff sewn up. They're both local boys that know everyone. Either outfit does very well

My Suggestion if you are going to Freelance is hit Long Point. Yes it is public land, but is excellent hunting none the less. late October on is better as you start to get the migrators in.
