Hunting trips anyone?
I want to know if any of y'all have any trips for big beasts this upcoming season. I mean trips as in a good ways from home, with maybe an outfitter or camping out somewhere that you have never been or for some animal that you have never hunted. I dream of going out west and to Alaska for some big game. I would love to go elk, caribou, and moose hunting. I wouldn't pass up a good deal at an antelope or mule deer either. Let me know what y'alls plans are. :getdown:

I'm dying to get up there. You reckon you could fashion my some kind of portal system out of a toilet, some duct tape, and old refrigerator parts and just fly me on up whenever I'm jonesing to shoot some big old critter? :laughing: I've been halibut fishing up there before and that was awesome, but I still want to hunt something. :yes:
i go whitetail hunting in NC and maryland also. i would like to go to GA as well. i do a lot of hog hunting too but that is local stuff.
one day i'll head out west for just about any/all big game species they have. like my wife keeps saying though, in moderation!

Assuming that I draw I will be going to Wyoming Antelope hunting this fall. Went last year for the first time and it was a BLAST!!! I also have a lifetime license for Utah and I go down there and get my deer during the archery hunt each year. I posted my pictures from last years hunts in this forum under big game pictures (I think that is what it was called). Also, achieved along time goal about a month ago of shooting a big black bear. :thumbsup:

Red I may not get all the way to Alaska but my brother in Fort St. John BC has extended the invite to come up for a hunt some time and to come up for a fishing trip as well. It won't happen this year but it will happen If I live long enough to retire in 3 - 8 yrs.

I would like to go out west for a elk hunt.
Red, There was a young fella at Zellers in Greenwood that every time I went to his cash register he asked me If I wanted the seniors discount.
