.....stayed up drinking untill 3 in the morning. My buds went out that morning and got into some major canvasback action. 3 guys out there with full limits including 7 bull canvabacks. :thumbsdown: I still havent heard the end of it from my buds.

very similar situation in my younger days. it wasn't canvasbacks though, it was puddlers, and a BUNCH of 'em. it cost me $150 to sleep in that morning. (my buddy's fault though... issed: )

Even with the chance of laying up next to some leg, in my younger days. They were told/ask to keep that thing perrr'n, and we would do it justice when I got back. Just couldn't believe I could give it the time it deserved, when hunting was afterwards. :getdown: :getdown: :getdown: cooter

My dad, uncle, and I have a cruel game we love to play on each other. If there is a day that we cannot make it (anniversary, kid's bday, work, etc..) and it looks like "the day" we instinctively know that the person that is not there is lookin out the window every 5 minutes going, " issed: " So even if it isn't "the day" the people that are hunting call the one that isn't and tell them they are missin it. Man it burns all three of us knowing you were right and knew that it was "the day" We finally cave in and let them in on it, but getting that reaction is priceless.
