The ice eater looks like it is working really good! With the temperature we have been having, open water=dead ducks. Our place in camden is frozen solid and its 15ft deep. The duck river refuge has thousands of ducks and geese on it btw. Heard the refuges in your area had a lot of ducks on it too. Good luck hunting, doesn't look like you will need it though.
Ice Eater Work Out
The old ice eater is getting a good work out on Reelfoot Lake. We picked up 63 ducks in 2 days over it. It runs 24 hours a day. Ducks will work right on top of it running. Cold front moving in the next couple of days . We will see if the new ducks will make it here.
