Well the weather been crappy so I haven't been able to do any sea duckin, so I decided I'd give ice fishin a whirl today and somehow I managed to bag this guy. 18.5 inch brookie, I didnt have any scales on me but he wieghed about 3 pounds our so, not bad for a shot in the dark.

Nice trout! I spent Christmas over towards Bucksport this year at my folks house and I wanted to do some Sea Duck'n since I have never gone before but I couldn't find anyone that wanted to go so I decided to bring along my fly rod and fish the Orland River (one of the few rivers in maine that allows year round open water fishing). I ended up catching 5 brookies all around 16" and one salmon about the same size. I was shocked haha. From the look of the pick I would say 3lbs. is a safe bet. Congrats on the great fish!
