Hi Fellas,
Well a couple of months after my hunk of crap mercury blew up my lab, a big big female, went about 115 pounds. Placed her head in front of a bumper. The kids let her out and forgot to bring her in while I was at work. I was smart enough to keep a daughter out of her last litter. Anyhow I ordered a new duckboat boat w/ a JOHNSON ETEC. Can't wait for opening day and potholes.

Remember friends don't let friends buy a mercury.

Sorry to hear about your pup, always tough to lose a loved one. Your profile says central washington, are you in the moses lake area? I thought I was central wash. :toofunny:

I graduated from Central in 94. I now live and work on the West Side. I use to do some hunting out by the KOA on the little pond right off of I-90. We had no money and lived on campus so no dog either. We used an inflatable to retrieve our ducks. Man I miss those days. Skipping class to get some ducks.

We call those the "ticket ponds". My buddy got a ticket for hunting there. Too close to the freeway they say.

Sorry for the bad advise  . We hunted there for a season and never got a ticket. We were never even talked to by local authorities either. I was a reserve deputy with Kittitas County Sheriffs Office then too. Heck we even use to see the State Patrol cruise by there because their office was just down the road. I even asked fish and game dept. if it was legal to hunt there. They told us as far as they knew it was okay (I think that was their exact words too). I guess E-burg has grown some since 94. We also use to hunt some out by the big red antique barn east of Ellensburg on the north side of I-90 (Thorp exit) . There was a little lake or pond there if I recall correctly. There is also the potholes in Moses Lake

You should see the blind out there in Thorp now, the thing is HUGE!!! It even has a wood stove and two rooms. The river broke through the pond, and is now part of the river. The road washed away and everything. You have to cross the river to get the State bathrooms that they just had to have. :toofunny: If you ever make it over here, get ahold of me. I know a ton of local spots. My buddie is applying for a corrections officer for the sherriff department. He only has the oral board left. He is a little nervous.

Mad4ducks,
I prefer to remain anonymous in this rooms but if you worked for the S.O. you know me. Also, the ponds are still open to my knowledge.

NOVAMAG,
I knew a few Mike's and I understand the anonimity request. Here's a hint I use to also work in the front Office with Kay for the Chief Civil Deputy Wilson typing up complaints, and CWP applications. Were you ever ORV?
