You could use FMJ bullets and they wont expand at all. They are typically around 150-155 gr, and shoot great in most 06'....

in your opinion is a 30-06 too big for yote hunting or is it, really that of a big deal

Call them in close and shoot them with some BBB!!!
I like dusting them with some BB's when they come close. You guys should see the BTO videos on Youtube....
