I just became the owner of a Ithaca 37 feather weigth with a 28" full choke barrel and raybar sight. I'm wonderring if any of you have any idea how much it'll cost me to have it the constriction openned up? This gun is mint, the only reason I won't say its NIB is because the box is long gone and its killed a few partridge and 1 deer, but you'd never know to look at it.

I'd rather avoid the hassels of trying to ship gun parts back and forth between America and Canada, but thanks for the quick reply.

I don't think it's very expensive, I think a good gunsmith will bore out the choke, and tap it so that a screw in choke can be used, it depends on your barrel thickness.

I had one "back in the day" and sold it due to it having a full choke and steel was just coming in. I checked to see what it would cost to have it threaded and tubes put in. It was costly, and I ended up selling the gun. I wish I had it back sometimes.
