I have seen them work for snows, but has anyone used them on canadas. It seems like it would add some nice movement to my spread, but dont want them to flare birds. For those of you that have used them what do you think?
Dave; My buddies and I have several Jack kites . If we are in a situation where pass shooting is the only option we will put up the kites and get downwind allowing the kites to help draw the geese over our position on approach. It has been our experience, when using the kites, that as the geese got close to the spread they were able to identify them as imposter's, and slid off to one side, or picked up their wing beat and departed. They will attract geese to the spread, it was the finish we felt was compromised. Just an opinion.
