[Band Bandit]

I thought that title would grab some attention, I just dropped off my 6 month old yellow lab with Scott Greer of Sur-Shot retrievers in Friendship Tennesee last weekend. Scott is going to have her for the next six months. I never realized how attached a family could get to a dog but it is driving us crazy not having her at home. Scott Greer is a member of Team Water Dog and one of the nations top trainers, hopfully come this August when we pick Winne up Ill have a first class hunting companion. I even managed to work out a deal with Scott to meet and have dinner with Justin Tackett who is a close friend of Scott's who knows maybe I can get them to take Winnie and I on a hunt with them this fall. :huh:

i just dropped my dog off at dennis taylors place this past weekend, he trains jeff foiles dogs. i didnt realize how bored i was going to be with out my little buddy. he will be there for 3 months for obedience, force fetch and collar conditioning, then next year he will go back for four months for whistle and hand signaling.
